Definitely THE BEST DHr fanfic I've read! I'm so grateful to Rizzle for completing this epic work and giving it a great ending! The story is extremely well written - entirely believable (and wayyyy better then canon) AU storyline, perfect characterisation for every single person in the story (including minor roles), heart wrenching situations, witty conversations ....I simply cannot describe enough how good this fanfic is. It's one that can be re-read over and over again because it is not overly angsty or sad. One thing though, I thought the original story summary could have been better....i would never have click on this story based on that summary if I haven seen it being highly recommended by many people.

I I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Although it is quite long, its smooth pacing makes reading effortless. The story is also very complex, but the author’s attention to detail is excellent, and all the loose ends are wrapped up.

More importantly, it sold the Draco/Hermione relationship. I’ve been a Draco/Ginny shipper for years, so my mind wasn’t completely open to the concept. However, recent changes have turned my life upside down and wound up impacting my tastes in fan fiction. (Who knew such a thing was possible?) Anyway, I decided to try something new.

This author made me see that Draco and Hermione share a level of intelligence that does not routinely occur in the Potterverse. Also, they are both unusually sensitive and aware. The Dragon’s Bride dissects how these unique qualities draw them together and pull them apart. Their relationship is examined at several different points in time, and shows how external factors, such as stress and maturity help or hinder their ability to be together.

This story gave me insight into the possibilities this pairing can offer. I look forward to reading more Draco/Hermione stories.

This was one of the first Dramione fics I ever read. Reading it while it was being written was hard because I could not wait so long for the updates. It's one of the oldest fics and still the one I consider the best one. Beautifully written, Rizzle shows her amazing writing skills.
Even though marriage-law fics are overdone, this is the best one you will ever find. And you will start comparing other fics to this one. The fic every Dramione fan should read and reread, because you will not get tired of it. Yeah, it's really good.

This story is well worth the time it takes to read it. As one other reviewer mentioned it is the characterization of Draco and Hermione also that moves the story along and makes you compelled to keep reading because you WANT to find out what happens to them next. This story has an original plotline which alot of readers are searching for and numerous plot twists which also keeps it interesting. I found this story after it was already completed so I was able to sit and read it without the chapter by chapter wait which was also a big plus.

The biggest reason why you should read this fic: BEST DRACO EVER!

It's a pretty long fic, but when you read it you feel so involved in the story that you don't notice the time. Wonderful supporting characters and the main antagonist isn't two-dimensional unlike usual stories. He has a past and feels more sinister for it. Harry and Ron here are quite mature which is unique since most fics like to write them as dunderheads. The author is also able to capture the best of Hermione. You feel for her and whenever Draco treats her wrongly there's a tug at your heartstrings that you can't avoid. It's amazing how her characters truly evolve from their one mistake, and how Draco grows to accept this.

This fic has a ton of twists. Its climax is the most exciting and heartbreaking scene in fanfiction that I've read.

A warning: if you read this novel, it will become the gold standard to which you will hold every other Dramione story you ever read. It’s that good. Rizzle deftly blends humor, romance, and action/adventure into a fast-paced and twisty plot that will leave most writers (myself included) jealous of her abilities. This is one of my favorite Dramiones overall, and is, I think, my absolute favorite when it comes to the development of Draco and Hermione’s relationship. Even though their characters are quite canon, internal and external forces conspire to bring them together in a way that will make you believe that destiny and true love really do exist. Simply an amazing story.

There are certain hackneyed cliches found in each ship in the fandom, but they become such because there was an original story which began the trend. This story is one of the originals. It's compelling, heart-breaking, and extremely gripping. It was well worth the year-long wait for the ending, and is worth any number of re-reads.

This is a fic that will keep you up nights saying, "Just one more chapter..." The Dragon's Bride is the most well-written, well-planned D/Hr I've ever read. To me, it is the epitome of Dramione perfection. Both Rizzle's Draco and Hermione are such well-developed characters, and you shouldn't call yourself a D/Hr shipper until you've met them :)
